Important Advantages of High Attenuation Bonded DF System-Wide ADFF 6 |
Fully bonded Assembly. |
Excellent vibration attenuation behaviour. |
Designed stiffness of 6 kN/mm for a projected vibration attenuation of 10 -18 dB(A), depends on the rolling stock, soil condition & proximity of buildings. |
Most effective reduction of ground and structure borne vibrations. |
Excellent ride quality. |
Suitable for special areas where high vibration attenuation is required. |
Trouble free service with little maintenance. |
Option of retrofit applications, SKL-14 clip or anti theft clip is possible. |

The Loadmaster designs are specifically intended to provide low track stiffness (i.e. modulus) in ballastless track. Yet they are extremely rugged and designed to withstand the most demanding heavy - axle service. This workhorse track fastener design, requiring little, if any, maintenance, is now available in 20-ton, 30-ton and 40-ton models. |
Important advantages include: |
Reduction of ground- and structure-brone vibration. |
Improved relationship of track modulus between ballasted and ballastless track section. |
Being more resilient improve "ride" quality & reducing stress on structure. |
Reduces impact forces on supporting structure. |
Low, very low, maintenance. |
Provides excellent electrical isolation |
Configured to produce two step or dual stiffness spring rate characteristics |
The Loadmaster is described as rugged with good reason. In 1997, the 30-ton model was tested at Battelle Institute under the following conditions: |
(i) |
24" |
Fasteners Spacing |
(ii) |
40 ton |
Axles |
(iii) |
45 - 60 MPH |
Speed |
(iv) |
195,000,000 |
Gross Tonnage per year |
In the end, the ATP-Loadmaster demonstrated a service life of more than 4.5 Billion Gross Tons - an impressive result for the 30-ton design. |
